Siena II

I admit to being a little depressed from knowing that our long walks are over. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing Toscana from this vantage point, even with the sometimes painful aspect of it. The landscape has been spectacular. And visiting the smaller towns has also been interesting. The architecture is amazing, and the feeling of places like Volterra is something I cannot adequately express. At any rate, it is time to move on to the next thing, seeing Siena and then Firenze (Florence).

  1. Don’t leave us now! Okay, I have to admit, the walking had my feet aching all the way over here. But, now that you’re in Sienna and Florence I want to hear details. Architecture, weather, markets, dining, wine and more wine. Come back! Or, are you girls still lying on your backs with your feet up? Nancy
